The native download manager, on your machine

The desktop client draws its interface on the GPU with GPUI — the framework behind Zed — and drives a Rust download engine running in its own background service. Free and open source.

Run it on a server

FluxDown Server is the engine without a desktop: a self-hosted web UI you reach from any browser, for home servers, NAS boxes and routers.

Docker

One container, amd64 and arm64.

Then open http://localhost:17800 — on first launch you set your own access key (8+ characters, letters and digits).

CLI docs

Android

APK builds per CPU ABI. Not sure which one? Take the universal build. Upgrading from the old Flutter-based app: the new app is signed with a new certificate, so uninstall the old one first (this clears its local data).

Browser

Catch downloads from the browser

The extension intercepts browser downloads and hands them to FluxDown. Listed on the official Chrome, Edge and Firefox stores.

Offline packages

The Chromium package works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium-based browsers.
